So who is still interested in an outpost GW2 guild?

You're supposed to be able to join multiple and switch between them if something isn't going on in 1. Even if we can't get a full on guild going I think we should at least roll on the same server. Most of the former daoc players are planning to go to the same one if possible and would be a pretty big advantage in WvW with a playerbase that already knows how it works

Yeah that worked out pretty well for everyone in Rift, didn't it?
Besides, the way they're doing world PvP will it really matter what server you're on?

Yeah that worked out pretty well for everyone in Rift, didn't it?
Besides, the way they're doing world PvP will it really matter what server you're on?
I think so? Don't you get a designated Home server regardless which means if you "win" that's what your bonuses are based on?
Regardless, where ever the majority of you roll, that's where I will roll.

rift was a failure of a game for the most part. Experience is going to matter quite a bit for WvW as well. Having people that understand how zergs and things work already is going to be a big help. If you've ever done alterac valley you know what it's like to have a zerg of clueless noobs constantly running around

The items in teh store help you level faster, do crafts better, but they have no impact on pvp which is the center of the game. The developers need to be able to make money on this game since there is no monthly fee.
Im looking forward to the game!

Basically they could have just scrapped the RPG part and released the game purely as PVP game.

I'm a co-gm for a larger guild and we had pulled a lot of ex-daoc people for warhammer. We had a lot of people but like any fail of a mmo it started to go after about 2 months. I'm still doing it for guild wars 2 with the same people and along with some other daoc guilds we've played with. Unfortunately there isn't any pvp mmo that can actually pull it off with just 2 sides, there has to be 3.
Really I'd like to try and get daoc players and us together on the same server OTG is going. Modeeb I hope could be able to help on that on. Need as many team players as you can get to really be a strong server
