Three weeks ago A stunning international muralist, I met on Match.com, flew down to Los Angeles. She stayed at the W Hotel in Hollywood. This is a very exciting boutique hotel full of good energy.  We shared a couple bottles of wine at the firepit bar outside. It was a magical evening by anyones standards. I could tell by the come hither look, I had seduced her after the first bottle of wine. The second bottle of wine put us past the point of no return. Still she was hiding a secret from me. And no, to all the imaginative Outposters: She was not a transvestite or a hermaphrodite. She was a supple Amazon beauty, with a Carribean allure only a voodoo priestess would have, light brown skin and green eyes, with an exotic accent. She could tell I was a real life mage, living in a fantasy world I created on a place called the Outpost. But still she kept a secret.
Imagine Gandalf and a female Balrog in the mines of Moria attracted to each other rather than fighting in the abyss. Such was this evening. However, little did I know she was a Black magic witch out for a lifetime vendetta. Was I going to learn her secret before it was too late or would she end my run of luck? When you get to be 60 , you lose a little of your edge, you start pressing down hard on the buttons, when they need a lighter touch- like an aging hard boiled detective. I fell for her hard and went to her room.
This is your pal, and long time friend Mo, signing off from the Outpost, where I was marooned here by, Bliss, over ten years ago. If I do not reappear, then I was lost and her secret is lost with me. If not, I will join you all across the sea in whatever Troll Grey Havens emerge from Existence and reveal what happened.
I turn 60 on Easter Sunday, tomorrow. The Buddha was born on the 8th day of the Fourth month , in the Chinese calendar.
