That is, one hand hit 115v+, the other hit a ground.

That hurt like a bitch.

Just enough to piss you off as long as you aren't soaking wet or very, very grounded.  120v is more likely to kill than higher voltages, atleast by shock alone.

Don't blink, Don't even blink
Blink and you're dead
They are fast, faster than you can believe
Don't turn your back, don't look away
and don't blink.

You know, you really should see a doctor, or at least take a visit to the local injury clinic (not the ER, it's for less serious "injuries") if you have one. Getting shocked, especially when it goes through the heart, can screw up your heart rhythm and you might not even notice.

In the Navy, working as an electronics technician, if you ever got shocked, you reported to medical. None of this "I'm a dude, I can handle it" crap.

Yep one time I was preforming a alignment on the driver cards on the back of a 1970's era green tube crt, and 30k volts thought my tweaker tool was a nice ground.

I went to medical told the doc what happened and his jaw hit the floor, then I told him it was low amperage, but it still hurt like hell.

He stopped looking shocked..

I think when I was in (Navy) I got hit by 120v, 450v, 16.5k and 270v DC (i'm not counting 24vDC cause that just tickles). Only thing that we had that I didn't get hit by was the 400hz navigation power. That stuff doesn't penetrate, it just bounces and burns across the skin. The 16.5k put me on my ass for a good 30 minutes.

and definitely this

It's better to be safe than sorry. I seem to remember being told that you should be monitored for at least 24 hours after just to be safe.

Edit: One cabinet we went in, you were almost guaranteed to get hit, no matter how 'safe' to set it up. It was a remote main distribution panel that you couldn't de-energize, with 120v, 450v, 270vDC and 500vDC strung through something the size of a small linen closet. We had a whole lot of fun drilling/cutting new holes for new monitoring and controls.

Hey Norm, you hear about the studies being done at Johns Hopkins about the Y chromosome of persistent bar troublemakers?
Yeah, they found a striking similarity between that and chronic droolers and idiots.
I miss Cheers sometimes....
