lol, part of me just can do nothing but /facepalm, the other part of me is telling myself this may be the easiest regular season the Yankees will face ever grin

Toronto looks kinda nasty though, in spring training at least if that means anything

Easy for the Yankees? Boston looks good and the Rays look better than the yankees.

Boston looks really weak this season compared to last, Rays didn't change much themselves. They'll have dominate pitching for sure and they weren't bad so it isn't going to be incredibly easy, but I think it will be an easier AL East comparatively speaking at least for the Yankees

I think the east got tougher to win. Blue Jays are up and coming, the Rays DID get better with their prospects getting promoted and the Sox had a freak year where everyone will regress to the mean (meaning carl crawford will be more like carl crawford)

The East would suck to play in this year, only one of them is going to make the playoffs because of how hard the division is and how weak the west is aside from the Angels and Rangers.

The al is going to be a bloodbath imo. Boston, Tampa, NY, LA, Texas, Detroit all have the makeup to go to/win a world series.

I dunno, Boston seems like it is rebuilding, lost their manager, lost 2 vets (maybe more?). I don't expect them to do much. Toronto will be interesting to watch though. It's hard to say Carl Crayford will be able to repeat his years when he was on Tampa bay

Only one? With the 2nd wild card, I'm betting there will be at least two.

For realzy, that second wildcard addition is going to make things pretty awesome I think

Boston lost 2 players that didn't play much, big deal. They will be fine.

Well they lost Wakefield (kinda sucked), Varitek (lol), and Papelbon (was actually good). Losing Papelbon might hurt. Also let's not forget they're getting Valentine as their manager, I suspect he might be worse than Francona was.

I just don't expect huge things, even though I do agree last season was just a fluke with all those injuries

Francona was good, Valentine isn't all that bad, he's just a blow-hard. Papelbon isn't that big of a deal...the bigger deal is Andrew Baily going on the 60 day DL which totally screws my fantasy team! G:LKAJSDF:LJ

I think only one playoff team out of the East because the division is too full of good teams. They are going to beat the crap out of each other. The other wildcard will come from the central or west.

Sox are gonna struggle to get over .500, i bet the jays finish ahead of em this year. Between their messy rotation, questionable bullpen, and injuries to bats, and joke of a manager, its gonna be a mess there this year. Rays take the division, Yanks finish a close second.

How does a major league team...lose to a college team and expect to be taken seriously?
