http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/46944203/ns/business-oil_and_energy/ It's up 65 cents since Jan. 1. Overall drivers have cut back on gasoline purchases every week for more than a year, according to MasterCard Spending Pulse. MasterCard's latest survey estimated that American motorists bought 8.7 million barrels of gasoline per day last week, bringing the four-week average down almost 6 percent compared with the same time last year. what dose Obama and Democrats say about high gas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qKdScVerrBU Nancy Pelosi the first 100hrs 14billion dollars was cut http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WjigcS8gN04 what dose hillary clinton say about 100.00 barrel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9Oek6ZboAI

Hope the high prices encourage auto makers to make more hybrids and other fuel efficient vehicles

That's nothing. In the US gas is actually somewhere between $18-21 per gallon when you calculate the true costs... But people here are effing morons and they don't want to know the truth about anything...

called taxes.. I know you people actually hate to sacrifice even the least amount to see to it that infrastructure, health care and schools are provided for. I mean give your average American a flag and he'll wave that sucker with his pudgy arms until he gets winded, does not take too long but there is some heart there.. Ask the average American to pay some taxes that would actually go to anything except defense and you're met with a whirring of electric engines from a stampede of obese scooter riding patriots willing to spill blood and maybe a Slurpee to defend against OMFG SOCIALISUMS! Never seen a nation so disinterested in it's own well being, unless it's to spend money on bombing brown people.

I am doing fine. As soon as the debt starts bothering me personally I will let you know. I would also be willing to guess my taxes are lower, and I also have nice and affordable health care. /high five

Dude, wtf are you talking about? If that was the case I'd have to hand over a 20 instead of a 5 when I got a gallon.

Know what I love about this? You bring up solar energy, or any 'green' energy, and a handful of people on this board start screeching about how the government is spending too much money subsidizing green energy, and it's horribly expensive and detrimental to the economy. They go on about how, without these subsidies, green energy would fail and how it's too expensive to maintain due to hidden costs. Yet they support the oil industry 100% and refuse to acknowledge the same types of hidden costs in relation to fossil fuels. It's amazing, really, when you think about it.
