Hey there, i just dl'ed the 2 week trial to see how much the games changed over the past few years however I am haveing a problem. I made my char and it portals him into the starter room, but then I'm just there stuck in portal space for a couple mins then I get booted from the world. Any ideas what it could be? Thanks for any info.

I'm not able to post there for some reason, it says I haven't been activated yet, when I have. I figured it was a port forwarding issue, but wasnt quite sure what to do to fix it. Anyone with any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Well, you can go there and use the search function... port forward for a search phrase pulls up a lot of info.
There's also portforward.com that will walk you through doing a successful port forward for your particular router (if they have it).
Consensus, Belkin = death or extreme hassle, anything else seems to have a variety of workarounds

My sympathies... well, you at least have a new search phrase... 'belkin'... for the AC forums, and wow, that should bring some real pain!
We can only hope you join an extremely small percentage of Belkin owners who get it to play nice with AC.

Well seems like I'm not meant to get ingame. I've tried everything and it's not working. For some reason I cant even hardwire my modem and pick up a connection. Time to give up I guess.
