Those lovely guys and gals in the marketing departments are at it again. This time they are attacking TV refresh rates as this HD Guru story explains.

60Hz TVs are being passed as 120Hz. And 120Hz are being passed off as 240Hz. They aren't call it refresh rate in those cases, but using marketing terms like "Clear Motion Rate" and "Scenes Per Second" and using methods that emulate a faster refresh rate.

marking departmens piss me off. Take att for example, they had no plans of calling HSPA+ 4g until tmobile did it. Then Apple never said once that the iphone 4s was 4g, then all of the sudden people had a 4g at the top of their phone.
