I take full responsibility for my actions. It is a messed up situation that we both should of never allowed. I do understand the rage a husband would have over this, but I'm not the married one here, and just maybe he should take a look at the homefront and see if they can figure out why the wife was unhappy and looking in the first place. Instead of trying to punch me in the face, cause that right there could end extra badly... I was with your wife, then I kicked your ass.... would probably make the husband commit suicide.
I wasn't looking for atta boy or anything, just feel like a giant douche for going against my morals/ethics. I'm not that guy that does something like this. Its not a my fault or her fault thing, it's an our fault thing, we both made mistakes and now unfortunately we both have to pay the consequences for our actions.

I didnt think you were blaming Wolfz, i assumed (quite rightly, i think) that you were blaming me. The truth of the situation was that we were attracted to eachother, but NEITHER of us wanted to have an affair. As much as i hated my ex, i didnt want to compromise my own integrity by doing that, so we didnt. We waited until it was very obviously over between me and my ex (and, most importantly, my ex KNEW it was over, and we had begun the process of getting divorced) before we started anything. You can blame me all you want, but my conscience is clear.

I maybe should have specified that I was addressing a general "you", not you specifically.
And I don't know. I think that yes it still damages something potentially worth protecting (depending on the circumstance of course). It's like...if you have an open wound, if you take care of it properly then it can heal up. But rubbing salt, dirt, lemon juice, etc. into it just makes a bad thing worse, and potentially fatal.

That is such a load of bull. If the only way they can be happy with the situation is to be ignorant of it...there's something seriously wrong with that. If you have an "open marriage" or the other spouse knows what you're up to and is ok with it, be my guest. But when you have to hide it, and sneak around, because you know your spouse wouldn't condone cheating...yeah your relationship is seriously effed up and you're only lying to yourself if you say otherwise. As someone that has been cheated on, I can say that 1) you don't always know your relationship is in trouble and 2) the person getting involved in someone's marriage should realize they have absolutely no idea what kind of reaction they're going to get when the person finds out. If I'm being perfectly honest, HH, I don't have a problem with what you did. And I say that as someone who has also been cheated on.
With my situation, I was extremely pissed at her. Regarding the guy, I felt that he needed to come face to face with the reality of what he'd done (which is what I'm guessing you also realize can happen now lol). I honestly know it was a poor choice on my part to go looking for the guy and I really do think I'm lucky he wasn't where he worked that day because it would have been bad.

HH - Sorry it happened. People are weak. On a side note - through studies, I've heard many different ideas on the human race and monogamy... Where I don't really think it's the best thing for people to cheat on one another, it's basically our instinct to always be looking for others and ways to improve our offspring, to find someone worthy of helping us carry on our line.
