opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

I didn't check my email that announced it the day before and walked in like 30 minutes late unbeknownst to me. i only found out when i checked my email after i got home today. no one even mentioned that i was late when I got there. one guy on the team who must have been waiting for me did give me a repressed mean face when I walked by, and I had no idea what to make of it. It stressed me out even after i decided it was his usual stern expressions.
someone also said, "there he is!" but not in a mean way. he quickly said some business relating to me so I then just assumed they happened to be talking about me as I walked in. I still couldn't shake those uneasy feelings until I ate a burrito at lunch. thank goodness for burritos.

If someone wants me to be somewhere at a specific time tomorrow, they better not be telling me about it today, and they sure as hell better not be telling me about it via email. Not if they actually want me to be there that is.

seriously a couple of times I have had crap come up and people have been like "we sent you an email about it". My answer has always been "email? I'm busy doing my job. If something that important comes up again pick up the phone or find me and tell me face to face, thanks."
