Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

They tell all their friends they are going to break the law; and use the fact that the courts will have a hard time proving intent to get away with it. Well guess what. When you told all your friends using a Twitter you just made a public statement that you intended to break the law. The idea is to go protest and force them to arrest you. Then say you were just there and had in intent to break the law. Without proof most of the cased are dismissed. Not anymore! These morons use Twitter to tell the world of their intent. Now they are crying that getting the only evidence that exists to convict them is, "It is an attempt by the DA's office to use a sledgehammer to squash a gnat." Well cry me a river. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702304724404577293960265255318.html?mod=WSJ_hp_MIDDLENexttoWhatsNewsThird#articleTabs%3Darticle In short Twitter messages, protesters coordinate activities and warn others of law-enforcement efforts. In doing so, prosecutors believe some have revealed an intent to break the law. "The lesson is, if you're speaking publicly and leaving a record as to who you are, that's information the government can legally access," said Orin Kerr, a professor of law at George Washington University who specializes in electronic evidence and Internet law. Tweets could address a key problem for prosecutors as the cases move through court: establishing the actions and intentions of specific people who were arrested in huge groups.

There are three kind of liberals; Stupid, ignorant or evil The result is always evil but the intent is not always evil. Not that it makes much difference in the long run. No one here is exactly as they seem. - G'Kar
