I have heard really really good things about this company's copy guitars. I ordered a Telecaster copy for my brother and I'm thinking of getting a semi hollow tele for myself.

The word is that even though their low end guitars are $100-$150 the quality is equal to 3-4x that, comparable to high end Ibanez and Epiphone guitars. I am very curious to lay my hands on the $120 telecaster I ordered.

Anyone with some experience on these let me know what you think. If you are in the market for a guitar and don't want to spend on a full Gibson or Fender....check these out and look at some reviews.

The funny thing is that I'm a drummer. I have 5 guitars....

2 more than the number of chords that I know. But they do make a really cool wall decoration.

Most real guitarists will tell you that not everyone can play like Johnny. He was blazing fast and only played downstrokes. This means he had to stroke twice as many times.

People make fun of the fact that it was 3 chord power rock and conveniently forget that pretty much every guitarist who followed him looked up to him.

He changed how power chords were played....and the Ramones saved Rock and Roll! flag

"Everywhere you go now you hear Ramones guitars. Commercials, TV theme songs, Intro music. It's all Ramones style guitar." Penelope Spheeris.

No. I am ever trollable.

But that is because I am both passionate and right. Never doubt my resolve or the fact that I sincerely and completely believe every word I say about the Ramones.

My son actually prepares people for it; "I gotta tell you, My Dad is a little looney about the Ramones so they will probably come up somehow. Whatever you do don't mention the Beatles or U2. Just smile and nod and tell him that you liked the Ramones just fine. And when he tells you that they saved Rock and Roll just smile like you agree or we will be here all night."

I know how that goes, once one of my son's friends expressed an interest when I was building a large rocket and I gave him the entire history of high power rocketry including the "who flew the G" incident, I finally took pity on him when I saw his eyes glaze.

At least you aren't pissing your wife off buying guitars. I have a nice Deering Good Time 2 banjo I play and it is really all I need but then I had to spend $2700 on a restored Baldwin Ode because my hero Bobby Thompson played one. Even with all the shit I took I'm still glad I bought it. wink

I know what ya mean about spending lots of money for a guitar. I've been building kits on and off for the last few years. Grizzly and Saga have some nice one. Haven't heard of Rondo, though.

Is that a Roland electric drum set in that pic? Just got my son one for his 16th bday, quite a good set.

It is. The base model TD-3 5 piece with a realistic snare and realistic cymbals. It's a lot like playing a real kit. Great kit, great fun. Some of the best money I ever spent. I went into the Rockford Il Guitar Center during their floor sale and bought the demo kit.

Wished I'd done it years sooner. The ability to play into headphones along with any song is wonderful.
