AK, don't put your heart into it too much. I remember when I saw the theatrical opening of Alien. We had never even heard of it before it was released. I thought, hmmm, sounds interesting. We had zero expectations and it rocked. They're proven they can keep making it over and over even when it's a flop though.

I know...but with Ridley Scott behind this..and it's in the canon universe...I'm hoping for the best. praying

I think I might actually see this in a theater. My first movie in one since The Return of the King.

wont have to go to the theaters to watch it, if they keep pumping out trailers at this rate.

True, but I'm hoping this is it for the ad campaign. They did a Weyland Industries viral video along with these 3 new trailers...they should stop cold turkey right now, and let this all glide them to the premiere.

They have totally done enough, I'm effing WAY interested. If they stop now, I'll still want to watch this in a theater.

This is one of the few movies in a long time to get me interested enough to go to a theater. I'm hoping they do this right. There's a lot of childhood memories/nightmares/questions that came from that planet.

As an adult in my late 30's, Alien STILL creeps me out to this day, and Danny riding his trike/his visions of blood pouring out of the elevator/creepy twins still gives me goosebumps. worried

The big 3 for me will always be Alien, Poltergeist and Jaws. It didn't help that my dad bought the soundtrack to Jaws and actually played it IN THE HOUSE WITH KIDS PRESENT(ME). WTF man.

LOL really!? D'oh!

Poltergeist got me with the tree eating the brother, his freak clown attacking him (one of the roots of my fear/dislike of clowns) and the crawling steak/maggots.

Jaws...just because I was born and raised in Hawaii...I overcame that one pretty fast though..there, the shark you gotta watch out for is Tiger sharks.

There is the one scene where it looks like Alien Eggs are on the ground.

Yes, it got to the point where I thought right under our house tile was the deep blue ocean and at any time Jaws, or ORCA (saw that one too, they were 2 years apart)could just burst right through the floor and get me.
