This is why I stick with SATA drives for now... yeah yeah warranty blah blah... but now you're down a drive until it gets replaced or fixed, the possibility of data loss is high.

I didnt go with the intel one. frankly I found their product slower and more expensive. perhaps that pans out in a more reliable drive, I dunno. the reviews didnt seem to lean that way though.
I got an M4 which is doing just fine for me

This is why you pay extra for reliable SSD brands like Intel and Samsung. All these people buying cheaper brands like Crucial, OCZ, G.skill...etc...are taking a big risk

i have several of them now. most of them are pushing a year old.
nothing is in failure mode at the moment (god how i hate typing that).
they were expensive.
and they are fast and i love them..
atm...
