For a friend who just had her baby girl about a week ago.

This one is smaller than the others I've made so far because her little one is only about six pounds. I'll be making another with this same fabric/trim for one of my sisters (only in the larger size). I have that fabric all cut out as well as the fabric for the dress for ME. That one will be next! grin

edit: I have GOT to either find my camera or buy a new one. These iphone pix are making me batty.

Nice

I would say bored much, but obliviously sewing is something you enjoy.

Like when I was in the service, everybody looked at me odd for volunteering for armory duty.

I like cleaning guns, and whenever there was extra bullets especially towards the end of the fiscal year, well got wasted at the range.

Yes I enjoy sewing very much! I actually have an entire room dedicated to it. One fancy computerized sewing machine, one serger (that makes the seams nicely finished like you see in ready to wear garments), one computerized embroidery machine, and one antique Singer which can be used for anything but which I got for leather and heavy upholstery type fabrics. Those old metal machines are freaking workhorses, and they rock! And then there are shelves and tubs full of fabric, and drawers full of patterns, and little plastic containers full of zippers and threads, and ribbons and buttons and trimmings.

I'd say it's a hobby but I may be taking it a bit too far for that tongue Obsession maybe?

An amazingly worthy hobby. Beats the hell out of model trains or pretending to be a Ron Paul supporter on a gaming forum. happy
