That's far too much of a breakfast for me - especially after the 12 hour shift. I get home right around 8:00am, when everyone else in the world is just getting ready to head out the door. On shift work, you really can't afford to eat something heavy, fatty, or greasy, or you'll probably regret it several hours later. I usually have something along the lines of a small bowl of oatmeal, or english muffins, or a banana and granola bar.
