How do you like it? Is the keyboard big enough to type on easily? I hear battery life is really good, any issues with it?

Was hoping to pick one up for around $300 sometime in the next month or two.

Craptastic. They take forever to do anything.

Spend the extra hundred bucks and get a real laptop IMO.

I have a real laptop, I just want one to use it as a word processor really. Maybe use it to dick around on the internet every once in a while, but I'd probably be better off if it can't even do that much.

There are also ultrabooks now, usually with 13" screens and like 18mm thick. However, those are well above the $300 price range. grin

If I get a tablet, I'd want something I can actually write on. From what I've seen, only the new ones are reliable in that regard, and those are out of my price range.

I got an alienware mx11. It's small and able to do games and whatever without having to be super heavy/bulky. Problem is it's a few hundred more than a comparable monster sized gaming laptop. But I can get 4-5 hours of heavy gaming on a battery and it charges quickly.
