Heavy rain apparently caused the foundations to give way on the railway line, which forms part of the trunk route of the national high-speed network.
On the positive side, the line hasn't gone live yet, that was scheduled for May. Chinese constructions seems to be having problems with foundation work in recent months.

The problems with high speed rail are mostly related to cost and usage.
I'm sure they'll work out the safety issues.
