So I'm having a bit of a craving for some good Star Wars, which has been pretty difficult these past couple of decades, and I keep seeing ads for The Clone Wars animated series. I kind of like the whimsical 3D art direction that they took the series, but I don't want to get invested in it if it turns out this series is as crappy as every other Star Wars story lately.
They just came out with a new preview a few weeks ago called "Darth Maul Returns" and the trailer looks kind of badass.
Anyone seen the show? Is it worth checking out?

It's not terrible. Same cheesy Star Wars dialogue but that dialogue is actually much better suited to a cartoon for obvious reasons.

The samauri jack inspired clone wars mini-series was superior IMO but from what I saw of the animated series isn't bad. Certainly not the worst thing on TV.
