So I saw on the SWTOR board that VN is going away. The most active VN boards will be merged into IGN, but I would assume this isn't one of them. Anybody able to put up a Gawaine forum somewhere else or is this finally the end?

lets face it. We’ve had some fun times. We’ve all been here for about 10 years together? I’ve hated some of you.. I’ve loved getting to know some of you. I’ve met some of you. It’s been a fun run.. but these boards are a relic of DAoC and tho I’ll always activate periodically here and again just to see if I can get the fun back.. I don’t see me returning any time soon or any community as closely knit as this. We’re all dinosaurs.

I've lurked back to this forum occasionally over the years. Even back in the the heyday of Gawaine, I think I barely qualified as a peripheral player. I doubt anyone remembers my Mend/Cave shammy, but I took pride of being one of maybe two on the server. (The only other I ever met was Pepe DelFuego—what are the odds?) I really loved playing on our server.
This board and it's community was my introduction to online forums. Just want to say thanks to all of you who entertained and informed me over the years. Best of luck to all of you!

I was only on Gawaine for a couple of years and not the golden ones 04/05 but definitely want to keep track of DAoCers for Guild Wars 2 so I guess I'll be stalking you guys on facebook then. 
There's a DAoC players in Guild Wars 2 thread on the Guild Wars 2 Guru forums where they are currently targeting "Sorrow's Furnace" as a possible server to collect on for the next beta event April 20th, which will only work if they use the same server list as leaked last time but another place to gather if needed.
