Farewell MT.. Unsubbing.

Well guys it was a good what.. 12 year run? I basically grew up on AC. Started playing when I was like 10 and now 20. Good times good times. I never thought i'd actually unsub from AC considering it's the only MMO that I really love and enjoyed time in and time out, but I don't even UCM anymore. Nor do I log in just to chat with Alleg mates or in /cg. The game just doesn't give me a drive anymore. I have been wanting to unsub since January, but decided i'd wait until the Feb patch to see if they really brought anything for Mages.... And I was let down. Mostly everyone that knows me knows that I really only play Pyro. He's my main toon and I only really enjoy playing him, so since they failed to bring any upgrades to my class I felt there was no real reason to stay.
If Turbine ever decides to raise the level cap, bring on even newer spell cantrips (higher than Epics), raise att caps, skill caps or bring in new stuff for the Mage class I will more than likely return. Until then i'll just sit dormant and wait for Mechwarrior Online to release along with Diablo III.
Anyways.. Happy hunting to all and I will miss everyone. We have one of the best communities and that's partly why I enjoyed the game so much. 
To anyone that I started crap with or said something rude, unnecessary, or hateful... No hard feelings. It's a game and in the heat of conversation and whatnot I tend to hype up, so I apologize to anyone that I have said something that shouldn't have.
Take it easy Morningthaw, hopefully I will return in the near future.

I wouldn't get your hopes up on Mechwarrior or Diablo 3. Diablo 3 will probably only hold interest for a month, especially with no pvp at launch. Mechwarrior will be a mess.

i still contemplate coming back. i just cant stomach the crap gfx any more.
for a while, I kept coming back, getting villas and then quitting, only to lose all my crap in the chests. lol. I gave up for good like a year or two ago.
i really just wish they'd redo the engine to bring it up to par with today's standards, and keep it open world. I love the open world with static and random instances. That is really what kept this game alive for me for so long. I cant speak for anyone else, but I thought it was awesome that i could run from one end of the island to the other. This game gave me the opportunity to be an explorer. After 12-13 years, I think it gave us a good run. Now, I just want a new island. They had the original storyline. There's no reason they couldn't have made a prequel back in the days of thorsten and elyssia.
IE - Asheron's call 1, with new gfx, open world, scalability for long term server mergers (for population control), etc.
