I believe the Democratic party isn't extreme enough. I voted Obama because I wanted a president that would get us closer to socialized healthcare. Now that America is no longer a AAA country, the remaining countries on that list ALL OF SOCIALIZED MEDICINE.

To be honest, I see this as an attempt by one faction of the Republican party trying to further separate themselves from the front-running faction. Huckabee and Santorum are drumming up this issue. While Obama will probably be the ultimate benefactor from it, I doubt he could predict the Republican voices stepping in it this much.

Eh, I'm still a moderate. I prickled at your more extreme comment... I want less extremism. Our country is the most polarized its been in years when we should be finding the way forward and out of the recession together. Its probably just human nature, and if the Reps had someone in office right now, there's no doubt the Dems would be putting up a divisive issue to shore up support for their base. Reps just happened to have bad luck this time, choosing something that offended me.
