Yeah The Avengers... from what I have seen so far it looks like one that would benefit from the big screen and sound system. As for John Carter... I love the books but haven't really seen enough to know if I want to do that at the theaters yet.

None. Haven't gone since the 3rd Lord of the Rings movie. That was the last time i was in a theater.
And while I am still kicking myself for not seeing Avatar in 3D on an IMAX screen, the DVD's come out so quickly after their theatrical run, I'm good staying at home, with alcohol and no annoying other people, and watching the movie here.
EDIT: Also, with a pause button and my own bathroom and cheaper, better snacks

Nothing coming anytime soon I'm sure.
I haven't been to one in quite a few years. Last one was the third Matrix movie.
I have a nice home theatre setup, and I can wait for movies to hit DVD and still enjoy them. My tolerance for the cellphone kids is super low, plus my theatre pauses the video for pee breaks, snack runs and also serves alcohol.
