This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

I liked both. I loved logging out deep inside hib/alb territory with my wife on shaman and we would log in and terrorize for an hour or two before they found us. Emain was awesome only if you could zerg bust with a sick 8man crew which we did so it was all good. Fun game before they ruined it.

NF was actually pretty harsh to stealthers which caused them to group more. Only the truly elite stealthers could hack a living out of soloing which caused more and more to group up. and if you are going to group up picking off solo's was BORING... So as a group of stealthers you'd bring a bot with ya and you'd take a tower or keep, claim it in the name of your known stealther guild and epic stealther battles would ensue...
What were we talking about - oh NF...
yeah - that was some pretty good times... I admit it - but. Logging in for 30-60 minutes before work, where would you want to log in? DF
EVERYONE paid attention to who had control of DF for awhile there, everyone! Ok we got control - lets go eff around in DF for a bit, move out bots over then log out...
/Next morning before work = 30-60 minutes of total solo+bot rapeage!~

Hey Zergstullic I know you rarely left bridges in NF but your knowlede pertains to post clustering but the sick 8 man was old frontiers. Though my pugs rolled those guys plenty of times.

That 360 evade was pretty sick on a buffed savage, but they died pretty quick to DDs
I truly enjoyed stashing my inf over on hib or mid side and leaving it there until we lost DF, then firing it up for a rampage or three. Stealthing was much more awesome in that scenario, unbuffed and deep in enemy territory where death meant /release and out of DF.
Emain was a nice BG back in the day, although as a hib it was pretty craptastic to defend.

Afio dinged 50 in DF. The lag was so bad (I had dial up) I didn't even see the level spam 
I could run E Main in my sleep. I was usually the only "visible" hiding in a tower spamming bladeturn.
