Didn't you live in Ohio? Did you actually move from Ohio to Kentucky?? Tell me I have that wrong. You should have moved to MA. We value teachers here.

I have always lived in Kentucky. Northern Kentucky is part of the Cincinnati metro area. We're about to move to Ohio though, further north in Cincinnati.

I love New England btw, Tych. I would move to RI or Boston in a heartbeat if I could convince my wife to.

It's not exactly as if Cincinnati is notable enough for people outside of the region to know where it is. It sits on the Ohio River where Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana converge. There are still very old houses and churches in the Northern KY area with secret dugouts in their cellars where slaves on the underground railroad were hidden before crossing into Cincinnati.

Having an official bit of that lore as part of your residence would be fascinating... I would dig up as much info as possible and restore as much of it as possible... Possibly use it all as a back drop to a bed and breakfast, or a restaurant or camping experience...

Sadly, I've spent time in Columbus, Louisville and Evansville. And Cinci has the Flying Pig, so it is rather famous.

Well if you ever went from Columbus to Louisville via I-71 you passed through Cincinnati and over the river into Northern Kentucky. I could have watched you cross that bridge from my front porch.

My stereotyped sense of the mid west demands that you be sitting on your porch with a shotgun and a beer in overalls and a straw hat.

Nope, all those trips originated in Chicago, so spokes on the wheel rather than running the rim.

I think the creepier thought would be that using that information you could narrow the location of his house down a great deal.
