DETROIT—When Mitt Romney regaled a Michigan audience this week with childhood memories of a landmark moment in Detroit history, it was a rare instance of emotional candour.
And, perhaps, an even rarer example of time travel.
Romney recalled he was “probably 4 or something like that†the day of the Golden Jubilee, when three-quarters of a million people gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the American automobile.
“My dad had a job being the grandmaster. They painted Woodward Ave. with gold paint,†Romney told a rapt Tea Party audience in the village of Milford Thursday night, reliving a moment of American industrial glory.
The Golden Jubilee described so vividly by Romney was indeed an epic moment in automotive lore. The parade included one of the last public appearances by an elderly Henry Ford.
And it took place June 1, 1946 — fully nine months before Romney was born.
Who doesn't remember when they were born, or how old they are? Who vividly remembers something when they were that young, even if it were true?
Equally strange is why the US media seems to have completely skipped over this story.

People mix up memories all the time. Someone tells you a story. You have a memory that is similar. /blend
Now you remember something that never happened.
I'm not saying Romney never intentionally crafts lies (because I'm quite certain he does) but every person on the planet makes this kind of mistake all the time. It doesn't really seem like he had much of a motive for this one. Why lie if there's no payoff?

Mit wouldn't lie about something like this ,so it is clear Mit's birth certificate is a fake!!! Unless he is willing to show us a legit birth certificate with a birth date that adds up with his accidental admission,there is no way we know if he is a natural citizen or not....I'm sure the republicans will insist on seeing it before giving him the nomination.
