Adam Sandler is not that funny. I want to punch that guy Zach on Ghost Hunters out.
Why was there a man just standing in my driveway at 5:30 this morning? Where did he go?

Venus is not a UFO it's a planet. I don't understand why I stand in peoples driveway and stare into their windows so early in the morning. Double Big Gulps rally have a lot of pop in them. Does 7-11 store their ice in a refrigerator.

Life would be almost unbearable without the tomato.

Science fiction conventions in the 70s and 80s were a perfect, never to be obtained again, blend of nerdiness, alcohol, energy, poker, sex, community, and great rambling discussions about everything and anything.

A well turned double play is as close to perfection as it gets.

There probably isn't a better year to be born in than 1948.

The Bills have been 10 players away from a great team for almost a decade.

That crinkling sound is damned annoying.

alt-tab, window-split

Why the hell would ANYONE quit their job of 12 years to work an Internet start-up now??

Meh. I'm just probably jelly the 2 I tried in the 90's didn't score bigger than they did.

Jelly. Tenkly would laugh at that.

This is prolly gonna sound totally psychotic if I really keep typing just whatever occurs to me.

Getting drunk might make it more fun?

Prolly gonna knock me on my ass with the pain meds for the jaw. Pffft f'ck it it's Friday who gives a damn.

bio

F'ck I ate a whole stack of thin mints before I walked back to my DESK??? From the KITCHEN? Addictive little f'cks. Better hide the other two boxes.

Better not drink too much or that'll taste pretty nasty on the way back up.

tv remote

haha even though I've got a VN window up this has kept me from actually READING the outpost for at least 10 minutes now. It's better OP repellant than a remnant post! Sweet.

tv channel surf

"Showdown with Iran" tag line on CNBC financial? Man someone must want an economic pick-me-up war to stoke the econ... ahhh. F'ckin Larry Kudlow the Reaganite. Figures.

tv channel surf

Meh.

on demand menu

Hoarders. Haha that's the same damned show every time. Seen 2 seen 'em all.

Oh yeah Transformers. The 5 year old has me all hooked now that he's watching the gen-1 original (hokey) series. Isn't there some new... what is that on, Hub? Yeah, Transformers Prime series, new episode, sweet! Time to get trashed and check that out.

Every once in awhile I will see a shoe on the side of the road. Today, driving home on the Capital Beltway, it was quite a nice sandal; not some trashy homeless looking shoe that looks like someone puked on it. I often wonder, how do shoes get there? Especially when it's a single shoe like today's nice leather sandal. I have never in my life been driving (or riding) down the road and lost a shoe so far as I can recall. I did drop acid once in the 80's and ended up driving on the lawn of the Hilton Hotel while trying to find a parking spot. Which might not have been so bad had we not been in a massive, pearl-white '70's Cadillac we called "Bessie". So I guess I should not say "never" because the 80's are hazy at times.

Anyway, it occurred to me that it might be interesting to start photographing random shoes seen beside the road in their various states. Then again, trying to photograph a shoe on the side of the Capital Beltway is a good way to get yourself knocked the fuck right out of your shoes. Which might just be how it got there in the first place.

On that note I remember seeing in the news that feet keep washing up along the washington coast with no people attached to them. The world must be a scary place
