I can't stand obnoxious preachy atheists either, but the judge is completely wrong in this case.
Insulting someone's religion is protected in this country. Assault is not.
I would seek to recall the judge (who is, in fact, a Muslim).

He clearly had no business hearing the case in the first place, since he seems to carry an emotional bias. He also needs to retake a constitutional law course. Otherwise, a real can of worms has been opened up, permitting violence against people exercising free speech.
It should be noted that another atheist, dressed as a Zombie Pope, was marching beside the Zombie Muhammad. No outraged Catholics attacked him.
So if a Muslim judge says it's okay, it's okay.

It doesn't surprise me muffin_king posts absolutely idiotic tripe like this. The hillarious source you are quoting can't even get the right part of the 1st amendment, and the idea that it's somehow establishing "shari'a" to throw out the case...good grief.
