New contractor/co-worker asked me where he can buy beer kegs.

Says he's getting a kegerator delivered this weekend. I asked him if he was having a party, and he said no, he just wanted to save money. When I asked him how much beer he goes through, he said a minimum of 12 pack per night. I knew dude reeked of alcohol but damn.

My father-in-law weighed 135 pounds and drank a full case of Schlitz every day of his life until he ended up in the hospital where he died. I was at their house and someone was in the bathroom. He had to run outside to puke. I asked if any blood was in it. He said a little. They took him to the hospital. He had bleeding ulcers that had developed into colon cancer. Near the end they opened him up to try and sort it all out. The cancer had knotted his intestines up so bad they couldn't even straighten his colon out so they just closed him back up and let him lay until he died.
He was puking because he couldn't pass anything thru his system. And likely that had gone on for a while before I even asked about blood. He was reluctant even then to tell us. But I guess he knew the evidence was in the yard. You can probably relay this story to that guy, but I know from experience it won't change his views on him drinking.
