No.

Edit: Should note, I'm a Ron Paul opponent. I'd vote for Obama before I'd let that cretin move into the executive branch.

thinking

I'd consider it... I'm not a big fan of flipflop's pandering this cycle, but I think he probably believes it's the only way forward. Hell, he's probably right, considering what he has to work with.

If Paul agreed to be Mittens' running mate it would merely confirm that he's just a charlatan whose only true goal is attaining higher office.

Paul is polar opposite Mittens on a whole host of issues.

Your second comment was good but why you started off with a pretty dumb comment is beyond me. Paul has already announced his retirement from congress. If he took a VP spot it would be only because of self sacrifice and being able to further influence government in a positive direction. You know he would be extremely unlikely to run after he was done with the VP spot. To think otherwise is really silly man.

I wish I knew who I was voting for. There is no one or combination of people I would be happy about voting for. None. I have NO faith in ANY of the people that are running that will actually make this country better.

I asked the original question because I keep hearing in the last couple of days that Romney would pick Paul as a VP. It got me wondering how much Paul's supporters will stick by him. There is NO one in public office that I have that conviction about.

Not going to happen.

Don't worry Ron Paul supporters.

Vote for who is going to nominate the least crazy supreme court justices.

It's the biggest issue at stake this election.

OTOH, your comment started stupid and then ended stupid, so it was pretty consistent.

I couldn't tell who is a crazy judge and who isn't. I can only probably name 3-4 supreme court justices off the top of my head.

Who in your opinion is going to nominate the least crazy and what do you consider crazy?

The economy is my biggest concern. That's probably where my vote will land. Whomever I think won't screw it up the most.

No I wouldn't vote for a Mitt/Paul ticket. I'd vote for a Paul/Judge Napolitano.

Obama is obviously more likely to nominate supreme court judges who arn't going to change things around dramatically. That's just empirical fact. The left's judicial agenda is much more about preverving what we've got. The right's agenda is much more about changing things around fundamentally. Which you support obviously depends on how you feel about things like individual civil liberties and corporate power and gun rights and that sort of thing.

It won't happen. During the last election Dr. Paul was asked if he would consider being McCain's VP and he said "No, what if he decided to launch a pre-emptive attack against Iran? I would be so distraught that I would have to resign."

But it appears that Romney is considering Rand Paul as his VP if he gets the nomination. I don't think I could vote for that ticket. I would probably lose all interest in national politics and would just focus on the local races. I would probably vote for RJ Harris for President but I wouldn't campaign for him as it would hurt my credibility within the GOP.
