I can't tell you for sure if I have or not. I started reading sci-fi in 1967 and sometime am well into a book before I realize I've read it before. So my question is this: is the book better than the movie? (Blade Runner) I know the story line is not identical.

Referring to illegal aliens as 'immigrants' is the same as referring to shoplifters as 'shoppers' - Dorvinion

The storyline are so different that they really aren't comparable.

The movie ends with an unanswered question while the book definitely answers that question and moves on to other things. The movie blurs the line between what is human and what is android, while the book has defined differences between the two.

So is the book very much worth reading? I may pick it up today.

It's not the best of Philip K Dick, but it is certainly worth reading.

Yes, and from what I remember it was a decent read. I am fairly certain that I have read all of his books.

Was a good read. I was generally disappointed with Blade Runner--it felt way too one-sided, and while I liked its ending better than the one in Dick's novel, that didn't make up for it.
