well we have a 1200 watt microwave, so it never takes as long as ANYTHING says (most boxes seem to be for 800-1000w)...so I usually decrease the time by at least a minute if it's more than 3 minutes or so. If something says 2-3 minutes, I do 1 minute 30 seconds and go from there....that kind of stuff
