There's so many to pick from but I think mine is Brown-Eyed Women followed closely by Sugaree and Rosa Lee McFall

I've always been partial to Uncle John's Cabin, and I love Fire on the Mountain.

How old are you ancients? Jesus on a stick I'm 43 and I'm too young for the Dead.

Bob Weir and Phil Lesh still tour as Further, I saw them this past summer and they put on a helluva show. The guy they have singing Jerry's parts is on point.

I love a good Scarlet Fire jam, used to love doing this for 10 or 15 minutes playing at parties with another friend - was kid of interesting with us both playing acoustic.

Other favorites include Brown Eyed Women

Mmmmm here's a tasty little China Cat Rider jam.

Man... I listened to the Terrapin Station CD for about 3 months straight one night in college too...

I guess though my all time favorite Dead tune though is Jack Straw - this was one of our tunes that we played near the beginning of our set when people really started to get into the party mood. We'd play it starting off at a slow tempo like the linked recording rather than the way they played it later on in the 80s and whatnot.

I love the old-time/bluegrass influences The Dead has, so many of their songs are old folk songs... if you haven't heard The Pizza Tapes with Jerry, Tony Rice, and David Grisham you are missing out.

Old & In the Way with Jerry singing and on banjo is also the sh*t.
