Anyone do it? Good, bad, ugly? It'd be pretty awesome to just get rid of the hair in a few choice locations. But... I trust ACF more than the rest of the internet for review purposes.

my impression is there are caveats to its use. certain areas not available and not something dark skinned folks want to do were the big ones

They'll do the whole "Brazilian" Area, and the buttocks... they're also rather up front about other areas (Lips, Back, Chest, etc). So I'm not too worried about that. Would just have to find a company that does the area I want.

More concerned with if it actually works; if the hair grows back; etc.

my barber has a sign in his shop that has prices for waxing services

i asked him how a nose waxing is done

he said they put hot wax on a popsicle stick, stuff it up a nostril and leave it there until the wax hardens, then they rip it out.

My wife and some of her friends have had it done. It does work, though it seems that contrast is important in the process - IE most effective with dark hair against light skin. Thin/blond/light colored hair strays after treatment is common. Typical treatment is several sessions, weeks or months apart to get all the hair in the area that is growing at different rates. At the place my wife got it done, they offered free follow-up visits to clean up strays in the 3-6 month (not sure exactly) period after the last session, and lifetime $50 sessions for treated areas after the grace period.

Yeah, I think I have pretty good contrast. I'd hope it'd work out well. May have to find one of these companies that offers a consultation; to let me know how well it would work on my skin type.

Hmm... $300 for the Nono... That's not too shabby. I've got a few bits of really sensitive skin... but it looks like that's heat based instead of pulling, clipping, cutting, etc... which might work out a lot better.

Do you know of any honest review for it? =)

Hmm... Seems they don't want you using the NoNo for you genitals... wonder if that's just for women, or if I'd risk a burning sensation -_-

I'm sure it's recommended not to use a razor in your genital area too. hypnotized

I had laser done but got annoyed when the place I went to was charging full price for what should have been touch-ups (anything after 6 treatments was considered a touch-up). I haven't been overly impressed with the results several years later.

I've not seen any blatant and specific "NOT INTENDED FOR USE ON GENITALS" for the Razor tongue Have you tried it down there? I mean, it's got to be safer than Nair -_- (Never... Never again)...

I guess I'm just trying to feel out the options. $300 is a hefty price; either route you take. I am leaning towards the NoNo though...

Yeah, it was pretty disappointing. However, that looks like a sweet deal, and given a deal like that around here, I'd give it another go. It's just that at $225 a pop (x7 pops), I was hoping for better results.
My sister had her legs done and had fantastic results; her hair's only slightly lighter than mine, and she's fair-skinned too.

Yup, did it for my upper lip, now i'm doing legs, bikini line and armpits because of a good groupon where I live.

It's great, takes a while to see results initially, and been back for a touchup every 6-8 months, but other than that, f'in awesome.

I'd hate to work at the place that receives the used No No's after the 60 day trial.

I think I'm going to give the NoNo 8800 a try. One review I saw on amazon listed it as doing really well on the hair removal.. but breaking pretty frequently... They replaced the unit for them though; so hopefully their CS is actually pretty good.

I'll let you guys know what happens with it.

If you're trolling looking for ways to shave your balls/junk...go to a store and buy a set of nicer hair clippers.

Take these back to your home bathroom, and take off the guards, using the lowest possibly setting to trim up your area.

Work bottom to top, back to front. Do this in front of the toilet/in the tub (if the cord will reach/battery pack). Then take a shower. Be sure to clean the hair up.

Profit.

Problem with Lipo is the limited amount they can take at once; and that it can really [oops; Naughty] up how you'll look in the future. The fact that the fat is sucked out, and not burned off makes it really unnatural in the future... you get to looking really weird later on in life.
