Wtf happened to floppy native titays and the intelligent journalism of National Geographic back in my day?

The PvP MMO is NOT a "niche" market, Mythic is just a "niche" company.

There is not good info, lol, unless you believe in a "Goldilocks" scenario. Enough of an apocolypse that everyone else dies or suffers, but YOU are left OK and able to take care of yourself in seclusion. Not realistic and certainly not in major cities like LA or Houston where some of these people live.

IMO, if there's a complete breakdown of organized society, you better be able to either GTFO of a major population or hole up for a long enough time for most of them to die off from the general purging that would happen.

Not sure what you are spazzing on about but that is not what I was talking about.

"SOME" of the info is helpful for food/water/travel ideas and the FEMA requirements and experts opinions do give some good info.

I admit the chick from Houston was a moron, she stated during her mock bug out that she went through areas of town that were rough and she had, according to her, already been mugged there. Well yeah that place will be much better during a doomsday scenario.

If you actually wanted to live thru the zombie apocalypse, and you were in a major city.....the best thing you could do would be stay there. Hide, but stay. Once everyone else is gone running into the hills to starve to death or eat each other....you get all their stuff and it's easy to get to and comes in handy little prepackaged houses.

There is no surviving the zombie apocalypse. None. They break you down eventually.

Nah. Just gotta blend in. So first non-zombie you see, crack their head open and eat their brains and don't wash up afterward.

You are safe as houses after that.

I *facedpalm*'d when the Houston chick was like, "I'll hike on foot, down from the Heights and through Montrose out of town.."

What a straight up lack of planning...Any "safety" route that takes you through Montrose is the WORST PLAN IN THE WORLD.

I don't remember if she said it specifically, but she obviously lives "downtown" which is vague, but anywhere "downtown" in Houston isn't pretty or fun, I'll promise you that.

Unless it's in a moving vehicle down a highway. I'd give you that. Even I suffer that one every now and again.

Edit: She does mention she is poor though, or not wealthy. She probably lives in one of those abandonded shacks by the water.
