I think I lost my phone in the parking garage at the mall.. what should I do?

Try to go back and find it?
My daughter was being difficult getting into the van and buckled.. I was getting impatient/ a little perturbed, and folded up the stroller and put it in the trunk in a hurry
I think it feel out of the cup holder and is laying in the parking garage at the mall
should I drive the half hour back? what's the chances it's even there? probably if it is, is been driven over and ruined
I changed my email passwords, as well as Facebook
I am still logged in ACF though

is it an iPhone? if so, does it have ios5 on it? if so, get on the iCloud and lock it, and set it to ping... you can even wipe it if your that worried... but only if iso5/iPhone

my Mom did this with hers...she got a new phone, 2 days later it was stolen at a concert (at a church too...that guy is going to hell no doubt). She apparently stood up with it on her lap and thinks it fell then and couldn't find it after looking for a long time. came home and reported it and deactivated it. Then called costco where she bought it and talked to one of the people that sells phones and they asked if she had some app on it (wasn't Plan B, but the same sort of thing)...Well we looked it up online b/c we had no idea if she did or not (she hadn't put it on there, but the guy said that the people activating the phones put it on there typically)...turns out it was on there...and they can trace the phone using the gps on it, or set off an alarm on it that can't be turned off w/out the password...but we had already deactivated the phone, and AT&T wouldn't turn it back on.
so We signed up for U-verse and got it worked in that they would give her a new phone if she would switch over internet and tv, plus got $450 pre paid visa, and no contract.
you could try that if you're with AT&T...they gave us a killer deal with U-Verse for switching over and letting att deal with phone, internet, and tv...it's like $120 for all of it with 3 cell phones, 1 with data plan. and also 16mb/s internet, and 3 TVs hooked up to uverse with HD and got all the movie channels (hbo, cinemax, sho, starz) for nothing extra for 3 months, and we can cancel whenever we want...no contract on anything except the phone service
