Apparently I recycle wrong

My sister in law was visiting a while back and she saw me put a bottle cap in the recycling. Apparently they only take aluminum and the bottle cap is something else. Then she said I was supposed to take the paper labels off of soup cans and wash out the remaining soup. Then she said I wasn't supposed to be putting in tissues or used napkins.
It went on and on like that. It was very enlightening.
I didn't change anything that I do, but it was very educational. I had no idea there were so many rules.

Tell here that your actions that she considers wrong, actually employ a gaggle of minimum wage kids to remove soup labels off of lazy people's cans down at recycle city.
Then call her heartless and uneducated because her actions cause many similar kids to starve.
Then laugh at her as you start some soup for dinner.

I don't throw the caps in recycling, but I've only been keeping the caps out for a couple of years now. I sometimes rinse out my recyclables, but I know they're going to get a good bath where they're going so I don't exactly lose any sleep over it.
But tissues? Who the hell recycles tissues?
