I was a Pats fan when they sucked.
Brandun knows what I'm talking about. Pats, Bruins, Red Sox. There's a group of fans who went through the worst suck periods of those teams and can say without any regret that they have the right to call out any other team and brag about any win. The Green Bay Packers have won more championships -- 13 -- than any other team in National Football League history.
They won their first three by league standing (1929, 1930 and 1931), and 10 since the NFL's playoff system was established in 1933 (1936, 1939, 1944, 1961, 1962, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1996 and 2010).

i was at the snow bowl...NOT able to see the game i was so far up!
i still have my Morgan, Eason and Grogan jerseys from when i was a kid.
Flutie jersey from his first go around.
i remember the 2 win season.
sure with the SB run we got some added fans, but New England fans really are die hard.
it does seem strange that here in MA where everyone is a winner until kids turn into adults that people are so passionate about their pro teams.
i find the same out of NY and New England fans...they talk smack, but when needed can really back it up.
most other markets get their panties bunched up when you say anything at all.

The 1970's and most of the 80's were lean years for the Packers, but that just made the 1990's and 2000's successes that much sweeter.
I've had season tickets since 1990, same year my daughter was born. My daughter is actually on the waiting list, I believe there are 60,000+ names ahead of her yet.
Lambeau Field was built in 1957 and has been sold out every game. Every game.

It was not referred to as such but the NFL now recognizes them as Superbowl 1 and 2.

But claiming championships from the 19230's and 40's as real is like Yale saying that they are the GOAT because of their 30+ NCAA titles.
When the only teams that they played were Harvard, Michigan, and Notre Dame.

TBH the Colts had the Patriots on the ropes in the regular season(Took 2 huge plays late in the 4th to beat us).

Packers are an original team, but not the only one that still survives. Bears, Lions, Steelers, Rams, Cardinals, Redskins, Eagles and Giants have all been around since the 20's or 30's. Browns formed in the 40's.
Technically, the Packers formed in 1919 but didn't join the league until 1921.

nope, no records, stats or any info from the AAFC is recognized by the NFL because upon merging the NFL did not get the score sheets so they discounted everything because they could not verify what happened.
so by that lame basis the Browns, Colts and 49ers were teams, but the NFL wont recognize anything they did.
the Hall of Fame does recognize them.

the superbowl, even in it's early days, is a hell of a lot more significant than a league championship than has a best record championship and even a one game playoff championship.
and why have you not found a new sig pic?
surely some fan of the greatest champion in all of football would have taken the time to acknowledge the last SB...or were they waiting to update with this years?

The Fins were so good in 72' that they won 11 straight games with their backup quarterback. We saw what happens when the Pats lose Brady.
The fins also had 18 wins in row by winning the first game in the next season. Ask anyone on the Pats that year and they would rather have had a 10 win season and won the SB. Even Brady says that losing to the Giants in the SB still hurts. You're lying if you say otherwise.
