Or are they equal. I say skilled, not better, for a reason. We know young men tend to be higher risk takers. No, I actually am asking which is more skilled. I have my answer and the reason for it but am more interested right now in hearing yours.

It depends on if you include things like the following in your definition of "skill":
tendency to take risks
tendency to drive aggressively
tendency to drive problematically timidly
tendency to become distracted by things in the moment (cell phones, conversations with passengers, etc.)
tendency to be distracted by things outside the actual driving situation (personal issues weighing on your mind about job, family, the fight you had this morning with your sig. other, etc.)
Certainly all of those things factor into someone's driving COMPETENCY or in their execution of proper driving in the moment, but I'm not sure they equate to "skill".
To put it another way - let's say I'm a skilled baseball pitcher, and I have honed my body and technique to deliver pitches with control and proper velocity. However, let's say I'm a head case and I get "rattled" to the point of distraction whenever the game situation is the least little bit of "pressured" or when things haven't gone exactly right.
Meanwhile there's another pitcher who can't throw as fast as I can, who can't throw as hard of a slider and whose control is not quite as good as mine, but that guy is SUPER mentally tough and while you can expect him to only deliver about 90% of the performance level I can when I'm functioning at my peak, you can ALWAYS expect this guy to deliver that, even when my own performance suffers greatly because of my inability to handle distractions or pressure.
Which of us is the more "skilled" pitcher?

I lived in san jose for last 5 years and as passenger in a lot of cars and when I look over after some idiot driver does something stupid ahead of us and we pass them, Its predominantly been asian woman, but I never took an official count. I could be biased, I was with an asian girl where she was driving and she just ran a red light, had no idea she even did it until I braced for impact cause I assumed something bad was going to happen.

my ex was asian and she actually hit those posts they put in gas stations so you don't run into the pumps. She bent the door sill on her suv.. the damage was several thousand to fix lol.

all the best drivers I have known have been asian. My babymomma is an asian woman who is incredibly good at driving, way better than I am.
I say it all depends on the personality. I know girls and guys I have worked with in restaurants that were really absent minded and could never remember what they were doing. Those people are most likely bad drivers. It could be anyone. And I think the more important part of this dynamic is who is driving WITH you. No dude is going to drive like a grandma when his bro is in the car, even if they do normally. This throws perception way off. "All the guys I have been in the car with are hella fast drivers, and girls are more cautious" might just be guys trying to look cool.
