A closer look at the U.S. Constitution shows a very clear requirement, in a unique usage and application of the term, that the president must be a “natural born Citizen†to be eligible for the nation’s highest office. And according to the Founding Fathers, a “Natural born Citizen†is distinct and different than “Citizen†and even “native born Citizen.â€
By his own admission that his father was a Kenyan native and British subject, Barack Hussein Obama already does NOT meet the Constitutional standard of “natural born citizen†that was established by the 1875 unanimous Supreme Court ruling Minor v. Happersett. WHY? Because the Court decided very clearly in this case and in others that a “natural born Citizen†is one who is born on U.S. soil to U.S. citizen parents.
The countdown has officially begun. Barack Hussein Obama is due in court this Thursday, January 26, 2012 to be held accountable to the American people after nearly four years of dodging our demands for his long-form birth certificate.

As usual, Special Fred doesn't get it.
Obama won't be removed as president. These charges are the type that intelligent people label as "dumbass", meaning they're completely fabricated for the sake of publicity.
That said, I'll give Friar a 6/10 for reposting this. Normally I'd only give a 5/10 for a dumbass post like this, but the fact that I was compelled to post a factual counterargument elevates it a point or two.

What is the inherent value in being a "natural born citizen" in the case of an American?
Most are just 1-2 steps away from being scruffy immigrants, so it's mostly a technicality.

You can apply after 5 years now I think.
Temporary Landed Alien (0 months - 1 year), Conditional Permanent Landed Alien (1 - 5 years), Permanent Landed Alien (5 years+).
Once you become a Permanent Landed Alien, you can get divorced, commit a crime, etc. and not face immediate deportation. You also no longer have to inform the government when you move.
(It could be 3 years, I seem to remember 5).
After you are a Permanent Landed Alien, you have to submit the paperwork for citizenship, attend the classes and pass the test.

Again, you have to apply for it. Barack, Sr. never did so. He was not a citizen, which is what the new birther movement is clinging onto.
It's a moot point, though. Natural-born has long been interpreted to mean someone whose citizenship was conferred upon them at birth. Since his mother was a citizen and he was born in the US, there's no question of this.
