Youknow , Spilt, the last one built, I did not really build. I bought all the components and paid Fry's $100 to put it together. That was about 5 years ago , too. I remember I use to enjoy building artificial intelligence. It was like giving birth to a machine entity. good luck. sorry, I dont know jack.

Looks about right. The only thing I would add to that list is a Razer Naga (if you don't already have one.)

I would also consider going to 16GB of Ram - Ram is cheap right now. Jump on it while it is.

With the Z68 you might consider getting a small SSD for the Smart Response feature. In fact I'd take an SSD upgrade before doubling your RAM.

I'd go with a bigger power supply but what you have is probably sufficient.

+1 on the SSD they run fast.

Start at a more basic level.

What are you going to use this pc for?

This is Spilt. I think it's safe to assume at least 50% of its use will involve the My Little Pony and Desperate Housewives intellectual properties.

Get 16GB of RAM!!
It is SO fucking cheap now, treat yourself for more room to grow in.

3ds Max, hell, any Rendering can always use more mem once you start experimenting with bigger and more shaders, and if you're a 3D graphics whore, well, just know:

You'll thank me later.
peace

SPILT SIGHTING!

I'm considering not building my next one. You can do pretty good with a pre-built nowadays.

kick PS up to 800
get the Thermaltake FRIO Overclocking Cooler Fan

other than that good build!

I went with a intel 510 ssd and it rocks with a 3 tb D Drive.

I'd highly recommend a SSD

I fourth the SSD recommendation. Also, if you plan on keeping the computer for a while, you might also want to consider a motherboard that can handle the upcoming Intel Ivy Bridge CPU and pci-e 3.0 slot for upcoming graphics cards.
