The Data query related to those counters is borked in either the initialization or load stages of the page lifecyle. Why it's Borked, I don't know. Could be thousands of things. What you are seeing is likely the default values for those counters\meters. It's set to -1 for debugging purposes. Conceivably you could have 0 boards, 0 posts, etc. - but you would never have -1.
Whatever is wrong in the Init and loading of the page is resolved on the Postback and the counters\meters update accordingly.

In other words, when you loaded the page, the code that gets the value for those counters screwed up so the values were set\left to their defaults. When you posted something to the board, you caused a different section of code to operate where the underlying code that gets the values for the counters worked correctly and they updated.

Based on the (9 today) after you posted, I'm guessing that you logged in just after midnight and the counters had just been reset and there were 0 posts for the day.
