inherited ibook g4 1,3ghz with 256mb memory...one of my friends are telling me to invest on more memory to it and ditch my old netbook, other to not even to bother and just sell it for parts...what should i do?

like 8 years... macs generally have pretty good longevity, but for OSX lion you need at least a core 2 duo and 2GB of ram.
