So I noticed a trailer for XIII.2. I remember reading about XIII's battle system and linear gameplay, and I never ended picking it up. Would it be worth it getting it on the cheap now (ps3), and playing through? I'm hesitant. I liked X and XII, but hated X-2, and the online games were pretty bad. :/ What say ye, wise Galahadians?

I enjoyed ff13 quite a bit. It takes a long time to introduce the full battle system, but once it does it is very fun and fast paced. If you're willing to slog through the first part to get to the meat of the game it is worth it.

This is when you've got full control, yeah.

It's really linear up to this point. Still fun, but just not as good as older games until you get full freedom.

FFXIII is worth picking up especially if it's at a cheaper price. Then again, I'm a big FF fan and will play any of the games and get into them (even the online ones).

I also seen an advert for XIII-2. I haven't read much up on it and I don't know if I'll pick it up right away...

My favorite was Final fantasy 3 (technically 6 but marketed in the US as 3) for the SNES.... a masterpiece.

I personally loved FF13, haven't picked up the sequel yet since I've become a sc2 addict.

Not sure if this is a spoiler or not, the only thing I hated before grand pulse was not being able to control my party members
