It's basically awesome.
It makes carrot juice the best so far. Celery juice is good and insanely awesome for you. I'm still waiting on my 3+ gallons of apple juice to ferment and mature.
Yam juice is good too. Jicama juice sucks. Pomelo juice is awful. Papaya wasn't good either, but it might have been a bad papaya.
I loves it. I want to try everything.

Removing the fiber actually makes the phytochemicals and nutrients more easily assimilated by the body. If you eat a carrot, you only get about 2% of the beta carotene it contains. When you juice that same carrot, you get almost 100% of it.
Yes, you should eat whole fruits and vegetables for their fiber content, but juicing them as well delivers a much greater amount of vital nutrients than you would get by simply eating them. The juicer is able to break down parts of the vegetable your body is unable to.

I'm sure there's nothing inherently wrong with drinking fresh juice if you want, but to be honest, I don't really see why it should really be better than just eating fruit and vegetables. Yeah, it's easier to drink a cup of juice than to eat ten apples or whatever, but you're also getting all the sugar from ten apples and none of the fiber.

I am in complete agreement with Accident on this one. Way too much is lost. Even doctors say not to give juice to children. May as well be giving them soda. And if you're worried you're not getting essential vitamins and minerals they make those too in a pill.

My kids pediatrician always said don't give them the processed juices, read the labels and make sure its just fruit juice and not a bunch of chemicals and added sugars. Straight juice made with a juicer isn't anything like the crap that most people get in bottles from stores.

What I meant in the OP about "good for you" was the electrolytes and other stuff that helps hydrate you/keep you healthy.
It's also cost efficient.
I have 20oz of juice now, made with about 6 or 7 carrots and 4 celery stalks. I paid a little over $4 for 5lbs of carrots and whatever of celery. I used less than 1/5th of that amount.
So for under $1 I have 20oz of some of the best sports drink you could have.
edit: also, in no way am I thinking that I am somehow eating 6 carrots and 4 celery stalks as I drink this.
