Interesting. I dont think Ivy Bridge is needed for anybody with a Core i5 series of CPU, but still nice.

At the very least it should drive prices downwards on current tech. I'm still using a Core2Duo system, so if prices drop enough I'll more than likely upgrade to a Sandy Bridge setup with a Motherboard that will support Ivy Bridge for an upgrade a few years later.

Just in time for tax returns! I'll hopefully be building a new computer around that time.

I'm in the same boat as JRave2002. Still have a C2D. And I'll probably build a Sandy Bridge rig if the prices drop.

I think my dog probably knows as much as I do about Nvidia's Kepler roll out.

Rumors said December or January.
Rumors said a bottom to top roll out would start this sprint through summer and fall.
Now they are saying a high end Kepler this April with a top to bottom roll out?

My dog says, "achoo", I think she sneezed, but it could be another rumor in dog language.

Though as time goes on, hopefully the accuracy of these rumors get closer.

Either way, I just put my Q9550 on eBay. Once my other other Radeon 6950 comes back from RMA, I'll probably toss that on eBay as well, since I seem to be doing fine with just one 6950 right now (helps that I canceled Rift and am playing WOW, haha).

I'll be ready to throw money at my monitor pretty soon.

It wont make a difference for current tech actually.

Why the hell not, lets add another release date for Kepler...

Chiphell is saying Nvidia is pushing for an even earlier release date of February.
