One was perched under my balcony. It flew away when I got too close

They are hardy little creatures. They don't mind the snow.

I've watched them in rainstorms...they open their wings and dance in the rain. You can tell that they use rain to take a shower.

Well I hope so. That one was obviously sheltering himself or herself from the snow

They are really drinking heavy out of my feeder. I think many people this time of the year take their feeders down

You should put the feeder closer to the wall, maybe inside.
