	Technology only increases the value of production. The problem is demand keeping up with technology and the growth of production of countries like China. 	technology is as much to blame for high unemployment as iraq was for 9/11 i suppose the massive technological advancement of the hammer and wheel caused people to be out of work centuries ago too? technology is a neutral force in job creation/loss the only reason unemplyment is high is because of lack of creativity....market forces stifling innovation....govt interference...and the cost of doing/starting business in short....money is the reason for high unemployment.....nothing more -----signature----- You can't outrun Darwin

	All of you guys are stupid. Our workers are still the most productive in the world. AND consumption has kept pace with increased production not to mention massively increased the customer base. 	So what we are all saying is that because of the unions over reaching and power grabbing during contract negotiations, all in the name of the worker, we are unable to compete with other countries and thus have had a hemorrhage of jobs in order to compete internationally. -----signature----- "well honestly i didnt learn "jw" on the net i learned it from multiple females that have texted me. but keep on truckin broheim." 	No, in other countries... People dont have rights. They can be made to work 12 hours a day, their boss can hit them. They are so desperate for work that they will take any job. Even little kids will work 10 hour days. They are still too poor to own much of anything after all the hard work... Furthermore, these countries dont regulate pollution or worker welfare so its corrupt. American workers shoukd never drop to that level and the US shoukd ban any item coming from such places. -----signature----- (none)

	So the solution would be to ban all products from said countries until they have comparable work forces and regualtions as in the U.S.? I don't believe that would have the desired results we are after. My first two posts were tongue in cheek.
