Yeah, they found a striking similarity between that and chronic droolers and idiots.

I was stationed at AIMD Whidbey twice, the first time as an AQ3/AQ2 from 85-89 (worked in 69A and 65D) and the second was as an AT1/ATC from 92-94 (worked in 650 Branch and QA). The rest of my career was in O-Level in the F/A-18 community at Lemoore, CA and Japan.

Yeah, I'm over here in North Japan. As far as life returning to normal it is going quite well here but then we didn't get hit that hard. Further south of us near the epicenter there is still a lot of people without homes and still living in shelters. Fukushima nuclear reactor plant is fubar and it's going to take forever and a day to get that mess cleaned up. But the Japanese are quite resilient and they really know how to just buckle down and deal with it. It may not happen overnight but they don't complain much.

Feel free to ask questions and thanks for the thank you's.

Daaaammmmnn...I didn't work *for* you, but I was there from '88-'92, working in 65F as an ATE tech - RADCOM. If I remember correctly, 65D was the communication gear repair shop and I know 69A/B was the wire/connector and board repair shop. I bet I ran into you at least a couple times during our overlapping years there.

I left Whidbey in late '92 to become an instructor and then headed down to NAS Miramar.

Ha! Small world...

I am not military, but family is. Grandpa was USAF MP for 25 years, step-grandfather was USMC, served in WW2 - was shot down twice. Cousin was USAF officer for 20 years. My young cousin is USMC stationed at Lejune.
