I use herbal essence shampoo, im not too big for any of them. they all make your hair super dry and its bad for it

You shouldn't shampoo your hair more than once or twice a week.. you should put conditioner in it as it's much much better for your hair.

I only wash my hair every other day to keep the natural oils in. When i tell people that they usually turn their nose up..but just for every day normal stuff..every other day.

I want to try this stuff..but I bet it's just a sexy scam.

people who shampoo everyday are the same people who wonder why they start losing hair in their 30's ( or younger)

I use whatever is closest. Which means whatever my wife buys and leaves out for me.

She has learned to hide her fancy stuff so I don't waste it on my skullet.

No women are actually really bad at choosing hair products for men since they often have long hair..

and yes this is a question for me..

For my hair I use this: http://www.gents.com/dermalogica-shine-therapy-schampoo-250ml.htm

and as a conditioner: http://www.gents.com/dermalogica-silk-finish-conditioner-250ml.htm

and for my body: http://www.gents.com/dermalogica-conditioning-body-wash

I also use a exfoliating facial cleanser to clean my face before I shave, you want something that adds moisture to your face.

so that's my metro eye for the uncouth caveman guy.

Hair is just dead protein by the way.. it doesn't much care what kind of detergent you use.

A) Wen isn't really shampoo, but I haven't used it. The infomercial for it is on almost every morning when I wake up though. plain

I can't see that it would do much for guys hair though, unless you keep somewhat longer hair.

B) I use shampoo every day, am over 30, and have a very full head of hair. I do rotate what I use though, depending on my hair/scalp - ever since boot camp, I get really dry scalp if I don't wash my hair right. Btw, Tinkles, get better about picking your shampoo, and you won't have the moisture stripping problem as bad. Herbal essences is cheap store brand crap, almost as bad as Suave.

The Aussie brand is a good all around product if you don't know what you're doing/looking for, that can be found in the store.

C) Thanks for the product advice Mammogram, I'm going to try that body wash.

Or maybe not, $86... raised_brow

If you suffer from dry scalp I suggest you check out the shampoo's @ gents.com, they have a great assortment of good products some of them are pretty hard to come by.

I also buy my razor blades from there..

I don't think I'll ever switch from Neutrogena T/gel for my head.

I only have to use it every few days and it works faster, better and longer than any other product I've ever tried in over a decade. It does strip a bit of moisture, but then I have an almond oil infused shampoo and conditioner that have been pretty epic. Plus they're all priced nicely, I don't care to spend a ton on my short hair.

That contains coal tar a known carcinogen especially carcinogenic if you ignore the warnings about avoiding direct sunlight for 24hrs.I use MG-217(6x the amount of coal tar)but I have sever psoriasis.I would not use either unless you are treating a medical issue.
