Or does it have more to do with each animal's personality? Truly... ~Murron~

With the cats yes. With the dogs the dogs the puppy thing is somewhat easier, although Zoey is not quite so bright so it still takes her awhile to get things.

When I still lived with my parents I always forgot we even had a parrot. He's still there and all that but like I never even notice him unless he squawks at me when I walk past. He was defiantly easier to deal with but wayyyy less fun

Well adding a dog to the cat was more work, just because it's two different things to do... adding walks (ok who am I kidding, opening the back door to the yard) to the litterbox, buying different foods... It would make little to no difference adding an extra dog or cat now, though, I think.

TickyAtack posted: not sure what the question is
Those that have MORE than one pet, do you find it easier to have MULTIPLE pets...as they may keep each other company? Or was it far easier to have one pet? Or do you think that the personality of each animal is a bigger factor and not so much the number of pets? How's that? Truly... ~Murron~

Dog and a cat... easier not so sure but better yes. Once they got to know each other anyway, lol.

Hard question to answer. Is it easier? No. But you will often get more out of it with 2 or 3 animals. This is especially true with dogs. I think it is about the same difficulty having 2 dogs. But with 2 you really see and appreciate their different personalities more. More than three and the workload starts increasing.

With cats it's not really different, just change the litter more often. Dogs it definitely depends on the dog. It's the same amount of walks and everything, but some need more training or have more behavioral problems than others, and you have to worry also about whether the dogs get along with each other.
